Gas and liquid sealant 35A77 100ml - Arexons 4726

Specific product for sealing threaded joints and fittings in general, of pipes and vessels containing gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuels, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemicals.

Suitable for diameters up to 2". Resistant to shock and vibration and retains its sealing properties in the temperature range from -55°C to +150°C with peaks for short periods up to 230°C (24h to +230°C on 1 ½" galvanised fittings).

The high thixotropy prevents the treated surfaces from dripping and allows application without waste.

Guarantees a perfect seal.

Protects threads against corrosion and prevents loosening caused by vibration.

Does not create obstructions in micro-passages and does not contaminate hydraulic or pneumatic circuits.

Disassembly is possible with normal tools.

For faster sealing, we recommend the use of System AP 724 Primer Rapido.

Employment

Recommended for sealing threaded joints and fittings in general, pipes and vessels containing gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuels, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemicals.

Classification

Product tested according to DIN 54454.

Approved BS6920:2000 by WRAS for use with cold and hot water (85°C), registration no.: 1811510.

Approved as a gas tight fitting sealant to EN751-1 by DIN-DVGW no. NG-5146AU0039 from -20°C to +150°C up to 2" diameter.

Tested for oxygen gas according to BAM up to 10 bar at 60°C 1432/95 4/755.

Use

Surfaces must be clean and dry.

We recommend the use of System MC217.

Apply the product to the bolt in the area of the coupling with the nut.

For blind holes, apply the product to the bottom of the hole.

Assemble and tighten as required.

Wait the specified curing time before handling the coupling.

For application temperatures below +15°C or in the case of slow curing speeds, System AP724 Primer Rapido can be used.

Warnings

This product is not normally recommended for use with plastics, where stress cracking is possible.

Storage

Product shelf life after packaging in sealed package and storage at room temperature: 18 months minimum.

Technical specifications
