Description
Threadlocking Medium 52A43 - Arexons
General purpose product suitable for threaded components made from all different materials including cadmium-plated and galvanised.
Suitable for general data braking.
Medium thixotropic product.
The thixotropic property prevents dripping and allows application without waste.
Eliminates the use of conventional braking means such as nut, lock nut, washers, grower, self-locking nut.
Avoids loosening due to vibrations, shocks, temperature changes.
Has high resistance to water, oils, fuels, hydraulic and refrigeration fluids, gases and vapours.
Prevents corrosion and seizing.
Also suitable for lightly oiled surfaces.
For fast braking use 'Primer Rapido AP 724'.
Employment
Recommended for threaded components that can be disassembled with normal tools.
Classification
Product tested according to DIN 54454.
Use
Surfaces must be clean and dry.
We recommend the use of System MC217.
Apply the product to the bolt in the area of the coupling with the nut.
For blind holes, apply the product to the bottom of the hole.
Assemble and tighten as required.
Wait the specified curing time before handling the coupling.
For application temperatures below +15°C or slow curing speeds, System AP724 Fast Primer can be used.
Warnings
This product is not normally recommended for use with plastics, where stress cracking is possible.
