Two-component methacrylate-based adhesive for extreme bonding.
Two-component acrylic adhesive with medium cure rate for bonding difficult plastics (low surface tension) to each other and also in combination with other plastics and also metal substrates.
Loaded with micro particles of specific diameter for optimum bonding thickness.
Fields of application
X-BOND is a fast and versatile adhesive, requiring no special surface preparation; it can be used:
- For bonding PP, PE, HDPE, LDPE, polyolefins, copolymers, PTFE and EPDM
- Also in combination with other plastics such as ABS and PVC and with metal substrates (e.g., aluminum).
It allows laminations with high resistance to cutting and peeling.

Application
For best results, we recommend mechanical abrasion of the surfaces followed by cleaning and degreasing using acetone and allow to dry for a few seconds.
The product comes with a special static mixer that allows the product to be applied directly to the bonding surface by completely discarding the first 3-5 cm of product.
Avoid mixing large amounts of resin and hardener as the heat developed by the chemical reaction could cause danger and loss of product.
Higher temperatures reduce the handling time.
It is recommended to use the adhesive at temperatures above +15°C.
The pieces to be glued should be assembled immediately after the adhesive is applied and kept fixed until cured/cured.
Equipment cleaning
Any smears of adhesive should be removed using acetone or other suitable solvent by checking its compatibility with the surfaces to be bonded; similarly, tools should be cleaned before the adhesive hardens.
Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically.
Product storage
X-Bond can be stored for 9 months in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.
Keep away from sources of moisture, heat sources and direct contact of sunlight.
