Description
Polyester putty for metals - Arexons
Two-component paste filler based on unsaturated polyester resins with inert mineral fillers and special additives, asbestos-free.
It cures by the addition of a peroxide-based catalyst at the time of use.
It is suitable for filling holes and cracks in automobile bodies.
The use of special resins gives the product excellent adhesion on various types of surfaces such as:
- Steel,
- Stainless steel,
- Zinc treated steel or galvanized,
- Aluminum and its alloys,
- Fiberglass,
- Hard plastics, etc.
Exposed to IR radiation it can withstand up to 90°C.
Tough, medium-hard, very adhesive, well resistant to water, can be sanded with roto-orbital sander.
Fields of use
In body shops in the restoration and reinforcement of corroded and heavily worn metal sheets and parts, or in the filling of holes and reconstruction of missing parts.

Mode of use
The surface to be treated should be dry, clean, free of dust or grease and roughened by sanding.
Rust should be removed as best as possible.
For use, add the hardener to the putty in relation to room temperature and the desired "gelling" time, see the table below:

Mix the two components thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Apply the grout so that it adheres well to the substrate.
After about 30 to 40 minutes, level with abrasive disk or roto-orbital sander.
Warnings
If the product has a slight syneresis mix it thoroughly before use.
Application at temperatures below +10°C is not recommended.
Storage
In unopened package and stored at room temperature at least 12 months.
