Product Description.

the tannin dye. Does not cover metal with plastic or waxy film. - Allows washing with water, which is essential to remove residues
of phosphatizing agents and allow subsequent painting. - Polishes copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, silver, alloy steels, without
affecting base metals. -
Non-abrasive. Non-flammable.
Phosphatizing: apply Rimox to the surface to be treated, with a
brush or pad. If necessary, repeat the operation after 1 to 2 hours until the "gunmetal" coloration typical of the salts
iron phosphate. Phosphatization is faster if performed by immersion in Rimox at 50 ÷ 70 °C. At the end of the treatment it is necessary to rinse with water and allow to dry. Iron phosphates, formed by Rimox, are stable up to about 200°C. The phosphate surface has a thin thickness. It can be renewed by repeating the treatment. It is recommended to cover it by painting. Polishing: apply with light rubbing and repeatedly. As soon as the metallic degree of gloss is achieved, rinse,
dry, treat with CRC 6-66 or plasticize or paint to maintain the glossy surface.
